Hi Ivona! Nice to see ou here.

I must say that I cannot help you too much in this topic.
There are several theories about this. It´s nowadays accepted the theory of the Big Bang as origin of the universe, an also that the universe is expanding since that moment.

In the past it was postulated that the universe expansion was decelerating (taking into account just gravity and ordinary matter in the frame of relativistic mechanics), so that in the future the expansion should stop and start contracting again into an extremely dense point, leading to another singularity and other Big Bang. Universe behaviour should be ciclic.

But modern experimental results show that this is not true. Universe expansion, far from being decelerated is suffering acceleration. The physical mechanism that drives this acceleration is still a topic of research, associated to "dark matter". According to this, universe density should decrease continuously untill.... (talking incorrectly) ""dissapear"".

I´m sorry, this is not my branch, anyone from here can explain theese concepts to you with more accuracy. This is just a starting point.

Have a good day!!

creation must end. so there will be the end of earth. but while speaking about the situation the earth may... you know like get collapse to other heaveanly bodies or explode like......boom or get absorbed to the sun when the sun will die, etc.. speaking about the time... earth may end after 4 billion years or earlier but before speaking about the end of the earth, human life will end for sure before the end of the earth!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Ivona, as you must know after reading the responses to your question, the universe is expanding more and more and maybe it will never end and it will become darker.
Have a happy and succesfull new year 2009.

Salvador.

this is the suposition of second law of thermodynamic stocks on the experimental facts, not this way, the expansion and compresion of the matter are regular phenomemas in macroescalar terms.
